On the last day of IAA MOBILITY, the IAA Open Space hosted inclusive city walks, a discussion on the role of mobility in our society, and a closing event for the IAA MOBILITY family program. A children's program took place on the Königsplatz stage
Inclusive city walks at Marienplatz
Tomorrow's mobility is supposed to be more punctual, faster and above all more comfortable - but is it also inclusive? How do people with disabilities experience the city? What does it feel like not to be able to reach your destination in a wheelchair because the elevator at the subway station has broken down again? What hurdles do visually impaired citizens face on their way through the city? Visitors were able to find out during an inclusive city tour.

Conclusion of the children's program
What haven't the children done over the past few days to show the adults the way through the traffic jam? They have painted, drawn, discussed and documented. Today, on the Citizens Lab stage, the children presented their collected messages to Jürgen Mindel, Managing Director of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), and Georg Dunkel, Head of the Mobility Department of the City of Munich.
