Versatility particularly popular
As the first worldwide mobility platform for networking the global community, the IAA MOBILITY 2021 has set standards. More than 400,000 visitors from 95 countries in six days show very clearly the enormous appeal that the event already had at its first edition.
New concept attracts younger target group in particular
Like no other event, the IAA MOBILITY stands for a modern and comprehensive concept of mobility. This versatility is particularly appreciated by the young audience. More than 70 percent of visitors in 2021 were younger than 40, a quarter of them women. Particularly striking: two out of three visitors were at the IAA for the first time in 2021. With its revamped concept, the IAA MOBILITY is thus demonstrably reaching numerous new target groups in addition to the regular visitors of previous years.
The fact that even in Corona times tens of thousands of foreign visitors, including more than 12,000 from America and Asia, made the journey to Munich underscores the fact that the IAA MOBILITY is the international meeting place for the industry and the world's best address for exchange and networking. The media response to the event was correspondingly high. Around 3,500 accredited journalists reported directly from Munich, and around 34,000 reports on the IAA MOBILITY ran in more than 40 countries worldwide. Almost 90 percent of these reports were positive - and that with a potential media reach of 137 billion.
