Choose from two ways to participate and get involved both before and during IAA MOBILITY:
Innovation Competition:
Over the course of two weeks, international teams—often startups—develop functional prototypes based on specific challenges and present implementation-ready solutions. The goal is to bring technologies to market quickly—efficiently, results-driven, and independently.
Hackathon:
The hackathon at IAA MOBILITY 2025 gives companies the chance to test their use cases live with top developers, gain innovative solutions in just eight hours, and boost their visibility within the tech community. The IAA.prototype.club takes care of the entire process—from scouting participants to providing the location and tech, all the way to on-site community management.
How the Innovation Competition Works
Selected industry partners present their digitalization challenges in the form of a defined challenge.
prototype.club selects interdisciplinary, tailor-made teams and start-ups to take on the challenge.
The pre-qualified teams receive their assignments and access to the virtual work platform ahead of IAA MOBILITY.
Leading up to the IAA MOBILITY, the teams develop their functional prototypes in a virtual environment.
At IAA MOBILITY, the teams present their solutions to a jury made up of representatives from your company and other industry experts.
Selection and award ceremony for the top teams at IAA MOBILITY.
In the follow-up scoping workshop, a 100-day roadmap for an MVP is developed together with the winning team and your company—so you can move straight into implementation.
